1. Each student receives a personalised QR code card — a durable, printed card similar to a student ID
2. QR code scanners are installed at key points: the school bus entrance, the school gate, and optionally the classroom
3. Parents register their mobile numbers linked to their child's QR code
4. When a child scans their QR code at any checkpoint, an instant WhatsApp or SMS notification is sent to the parent

Why QR Codes, Not GPS?

1. Onboarding — The school provides student data; AIVEXA generates unique QR codes for each student
2. Hardware — QR scanner devices installed at bus entry points and school gate (typically 2-5 scanners per school)
3. Parent registration — Parents receive a link to register their WhatsApp or SMS number, linked to their child's code
4. Staff training — Bus attendants and gate staff are briefed on the scanning process (typically 30 minutes)
